SOUNDTRACK SUNDAY - BOYHOOD

This weeks Soundtrack Sunday comes from Richard Linklater’s “Boyhood”.

Shot over 12 years, it follows Mason as he grows up with divorced parents. What makes this film so special is it was filmed over 12 years, and you watch Mason grow up from a kid into a young adult over the span of 3 hours. It’s something you’ll never see in a film.

"Summer Noon" is performed by Tweedy (Jeff Tweedy of Wilco) and his son Spencer Tweedy. It’s very fitting because Boyhood focuses a lot on the relationship between Mason and his parents.

Take a listen, and enjoy your Sunday.
